Official tour guide in Florence since 1998, she speaks English and German.
Graduated in History and Politics at the University of Florence, she earned a diploma from the Scuola Superiore Interpreti e Traduttori specializing in English and German. She cultivated foreign languages following courses both in Germany and Great Britain.
Formerly a translator and an editor in the department of Art History books of a main publisher, where she also wrote guides on Florence Art History and arts and crafts itineraries, she became a passionate lover of Florentine art and history and in 1998 she started leading tours. She is now a long experienced guide in Florence and its surroundings. Fond of nature, she followed a specialization course on historical gardens and in her spare time she still volunteers as a gardener at Boboli Gardens.
She feels at home in the main museums of Florence, though she likes exploring smaller museums and off-the-beaten-path itineraries.
