Iacopo Volpi

Iacopo Volpi was born and raised in Florence, where he complete his education to university level.
In 1994 he graduated from the University of Florence with a dissertation in economic history, concerning Italian silk manufacture and trade around 1400.
Fostering his passion for languages, he attended language courses in the UK, Austria and Germany. Iacopo has traveled extensively in Britain, the United States and Australia, among others places. While still a student in 1992 he passed the examination to become an official guide of Florence, Fiesole, Prato and their respective Provinces.
He has worked as guide without interruption since 1994.
