ACADEMY BY NIGHT PRIVATE GUIDED TOUR
This 60 minute, exclusive tour will allow visitors to visit the Accademia when the museum is usually less crowded.

You will see Michelangelo’s magnificent David as well as his powerful Prisoners which were intended for the tomb of Pope Julius II, Saint Matthew, and the poignant Pietà.
The Galleria dell'Accademia was founded in 1784 by Pietro Leopoldo, Grand Duke of Tuscany with the intention to create a Michelangelo museum, with original sculptures and drawings, to celebrate the fourth centenary of the artist's birth.
Today the museum also hosts many paintings from the 15th and 16th centuries as well as many Russian icons.
